I'm happy to announce that Rig 0.21.0 is now available to try!

Observability upgrades

Rig is now officially compatible with OpenTelemetry GenAI Semantic Conventions. Check our our docs page to make the most of our integration.

New features

• Chat trait has been reworked for multi-turn
• File URLs are now supported for documents, audio and video
• Reasoning/thinking is now supported with Cohere

Bug fixes

• Youtube video ingestion should now work with Gemini
• Fixed an issue with tool calls not being recognised when text is received in the same response
• DocumentSourceKind should now serialize correctly
• OpenAI image generation API should now work with gpt-image-1.
• Fixed a feature regression in AWS bedrock.
• ollama integration should now stream correctly
