The IDE takes a very very long time to index / compile 2011Scape.
Expected Behavior
The IDE shouldn’t take as long as it does.
Potential Solutions
Check for any invalid package declarations. This would cause an issue with IntelliJ indexing.
Migrate KTS -> KT (in-progress).
Condense some redundant plugins (spawns.xxxx) into singular files. Not needed to use one for each region.
Increase heap size for compilation.
I’m opening this issue as a discussion board to brainstorm potential solutions. I’m going to personally look for any incorrect declarations and go from there.
System Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600x
32gb TG DDR4-3600
1tb WD BLACK SN750
Compilation takes ~5m37s. Real-time is around 12 minutes. Want to get this down to around 4m0s compile time ideally with 0 reindex hang time.
