BUG: Home button in navbar does not scroll to top on landing page

What happened?

Description

On the PictoPy landing page, the Home button in the navbar is not functioning as expected.
When a user clicks on the Home button, it should redirect or scroll the page back to the top of the landing page, but currently, no action occurs.

This affects basic navigation and user experience, especially when users scroll down and want to quickly return to the top.

1. Open the PictoPy landing page
2. Scroll down the page
3. Click on the Home button in the navbar

• Clicking the Home button should smoothly scroll or redirect the user to the top of the landing page.

• Clicking the Home button does nothing.
• The page does not scroll or navigate to the top.

Hi,
I’ve reproduced this issue on the landing page.

The reason it happens is that the “Home” button currently uses
<Link to="/">, and since the user is already on /, React Router
does not trigger navigation — so the scroll position never resets.

I’d like to fix this by reusing the existing scroll behavior used for
section links. Specifically:

• add id="home" to the top of the landing page
• change the “Home” nav item to use to="#home" with isScrollLink

This keeps the design consistent with the other navbar links and enables
smooth scrolling back to the top.

May I work on this and open a PR??

Hi Sir,

I’ve fixed this issue and opened a PR.

Reason:
The Home navbar item was routing to /. When the user is already on the landing page, React Router does not re-trigger navigation, so the scroll position was never reset.

Change made:

• Added a home anchor at the top of the landing page.
• Updated the Home navbar item to reuse the existing scroll-link behavior (#home) for smooth scrolling back to the top.

This keeps the behavior consistent with other navbar section links and avoids introducing imperative scroll logic.
