Patching never starts on custom ROM

I installed the latest (v1.0.3) version of the Aliucord Manager app in order to (re)install Aliucord which I installed long ago using the now deprecated Aliucord Installer
After setting a custom name and a custom icon but leaving the package name unchanged, I then proceeded to the installation
I then end up stuck on this screen, which a maintainer in the support channel told me they've never seen:

No matter how long I wait, nothing happens

Note: the "com.aliucord" package is of the Aliucord Installer's version I've reinstalled after failing to have it from Aliucord Manager. For the attempt logged here I used a different package name for the new version

Sorry, just saw your comment. Also my previous version of the logcat was deleted so I could repost its redacted content (some sensitive information were found in)

Same problem, even after using the (experimental?) option to install through Root access
