how to sort by lastmod?

I want to sort posts by lastmod. So I modify layouts/index.html to:

But it doesn't work.
<pre>{{ jsonify (dict "indent" " ") $filtered }}</pre> show the sorting is like expected, but after pagination, the sorting is crashed.

Anyone know what's wrong with than? Thanks.

You're on the right path, but the file you're modifying is not the correct one. In order to display page x in the title, the initial .paginator was created in partials/data/title.html.

I'm trying to do the same thing, but by page date... I've tried modifying line 10 of layouts/partials/data/title.html like this:

{{ $filtered := ($pages | intersect $notHidden).ByDate.Reverse }}

but it hasn't had any effect - do I need to change something else or somewhere else?
