Hello, am testing microwin/winutil for the first time and ran into some issues. Let me know if it's just me doing something wrong.
Issue 1:
Using the official Windows 11 ISO, I created a Microwin ISO (11 Pro Education SKU). After install the latest Windows cumulative update (as of last week, KB5062553) fails to install. The only way I could fix it is to run a "DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" and "sfc scannow now". This does report finding issues and fixing them.
issue 2:
I tried adding the VirtIO driver from Micrwin but I still had to manually install these drivers on a Proxmox install. In a related issue I tried a Microwin install in Parallels on my M1 Mac (using an ARM ISO and VirtIO drivers) and I can't get past the install driver windows setup screen. The standalone drivers do not get me past it this time. Both of these roadblocks might just be my settings/hardware.
Bonus:
Do Winutil tweaks generally take affect on all users, all users and new (default) users, or just the current user (or does it depend on the setting)? I am in an AD environment with shared lab computers, so system-wide changes are useful.
