Geometries are significantly off in Sentinel2 embeddings hosted on AWS

I have been exploring the clay-v1-5-sentinel2/sentinel-s2-l2a-cogs embeddings hosted on Source Cooperative and found the embedding tile geometries are off (in addition to missing an assigned crs), and many of the tiles actually are duplicated with slightly different embeddings attached.

The NAIP embeddings don't seem to have issues so first I will share a screenshot of one of those as an example for reference. Below is a NAIP source image with an embeddings tile layer directly on top in blue. You can see from the info panel on the right, there is one embedding associated with a single tile.

The sentinel embeddings have the same shape as the source sentinel scenes, but do not line up at all. Some scale factor is off as the embeddings layer is significantly bigger than the source sentinel scene. Below is visual sentinel raster for S2A_12SXA_20241224_0_L2A in the top left of the blue embeddings layer.

There are also sometimes multiple slightly different embeddings associated with a given tile (second image below).

This is potentially a related issue but seems slightly different because in that description the tiles did not overlap the source raster at all (I may be misunderstanding it though).

@brunosan you probably want to look at this before embedding more Sentinel-2 scenes. I think it's a constant scaling factor so might still be possible to save the embeddings and reverse engineer the tiles back to the correct geometries. Hopefully these won't go to waste!
