[Feature Request]: General typo squating detection #94
Description
Please confirm:
- I have searched existing feature requests (open and closed) and found no duplicates.
Problem Statement
What do you think about blocking domains that are very close to commonly known URLs?
e.g.
goog1e.com Levstein distance 1 to google.com
g00gle.com Levstein distance 2 to google.com
User could set the the threshold, and list of protected domains, exceptions.
Security has to be multilayered.
Benefits for MSPs
could be a universal solution.
Value or Importance
Could stop MANY attacks for non-technical users,
also useful for technical ones too.
Dead simple addon.
