a few questions

1. Is it possible to make a mercator projection map? the current one kind of messes up the terrain a bit in the north and south of the map.
2. it it possible to make the map wider and move the far eastern edge of siberia to next to russia instead of on the other side of the map?
3. How does the mountain generation work and can it be fixed? from what i saw especially in greece and norway the mountains are just jagged spikes and not smooth at all.

1. Probably from a height map in worldpainter. You should try it, its fun! Ive done it before (Im not the creator)
2. Definitely. It dpends on the height map of the map.
3. It works from the height map. The height map shows the heights of each block. It gets better as the scale gets more detailed because theres more to work with. Its meant to be accurate ,not nescesarily specifically for survival.
