Chromium claims the Debian version of Privacy Badger is "no longer supported" #3091

Is this just the panopticon trying to help stalkers track me ? In "Manage Extensions", I do still get a message:
So it seems our Overlords who wish to be Omniscient are quite unsubtly trying to discourage folk from using Privacy Badger. |

Hello and thanks for getting in touch! Google is in the process of phasing out "Manifest V2" extensions, so what you ran into is expected. The latest version of Privacy Badger (as of now, 2025.3.27) is a "Manifest V3" extension. If you can, I highly recommend updating to the latest Privacy Badger by removing whatever you installed through Debian and visiting Privacy Badger's homepage to get the correct install link for your browser. |
