Compilation of firmware v3.0.0 aborts with error message.

Expected Behavior

Had always run smoothly until today.

Steps To Reproduce

Have already tried 3 times, always at the same point.

Given it builds fine in main, more information is required, such as your build flags. Are you building a non-English firmware - if so, #6622 will probably have resolved this.

Companion v3.0. can now be installed on a PC without any errors.

However, there is still one error: the channel names are missing in the radio setup under MODE.

Could you look at this please @philmoz ? I'm thinking it might be stemming from #6502, but have no capacity to look into this atm.

Mode strings are fine here. Check that the sticks do not have blank names in the radio settings.

With Companion 3.0.0, it is also not possible to write in the main menu at AXIS.
The fields are also completely empty in the previous version, where the SYS/MDL keys still had their previous functions.
