Regarding tags, what tags are you referring to exactly? NBT Tags? If that's the case, we will not add an action for editing NBT Tags. We have an action, and commands for editing PDC Tags (which are NBT Tags with a custom namespace). If you did not mean NBT Tags, please clarify.

You can insert only items from these slots: helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, main hand and off hand: armor_helmet, armor_chestplate, armor_leggings, armor_boots, main_hand and off_hand.
Use these values as material.

I forgot about the DeluxeMenus placeholders that return items from the armor slots and the left/right hand.

Here’s what I meant...
Minecraft now allows editing item and block meta data (I'm not too familiar with this).
But the issue is that this requires using datapacks or separate plugins...

The main idea was to enable accepting item data directly from a slot, where the player could drag and drop any item themselves.
I don’t understand why this hasn’t been implemented yet, as this feature exists in any other menu plugins—you can load items from the player's inventory into the menu.

For example, I’d like to check the contents of certain containers, specifically enchantments from plugins, and if the container contains specific text or several different pieces of text, we remove the enchantments from the item, return the item with edited meta data, and give the books that were detected...

Similarly, it would be possible to create currency exchangers or item crafts with checks via DeluxeMenus (otherwise, I don’t see the point in the plugin supporting so many menu types that nobody uses).

And overall, allowing the creation of pages within a single menu and allowing items to be inserted into the menu would be a massive leap for the plugin and a huge boost for server development and its mechanics!
