IBGateway headless - Error: Offline TWS/Gateway version 1037 is not installed: can't find jars folder

Hi Richard and others,
I am sure this is an easy config.ini set up issue or gatewaystartup.sh issue but it is driving me crazy. Has anybody seen this before, I am using the latest version 3.23.0. And is it anything to do with total.jar or total-2024.jar? Any help would be much appreciated.

Error: Offline TWS/Gateway version 1037 is not installed: can't find jars folder
Make sure you install the offline version of TWS/Gateway
IBC does not work with the auto-updating TWS/Gateway

In your gatewaystart.sh, the TWS_PATH setting is wrong. You need;

TWS_PATH=/root/ibgw818/Jts/

Given that path and the TWS_MAJOR_VERSION, the IBC script will find the jars, regardless of whether it was the TWS or the Gateway installer that was used (both installers contain identical jars), or whether TWS or Gateway is being started.
