App does not open on click of push notification with deeplink

if app is not running and i receive push notification with Open URL action with deeplink. whenever i click on notification my custom deeplink handler gets called inside handleIterableURL() function but app does not open. i can see from log that deeplink handler executes but app does not open.

If i click on push notification with Open App action in this case app opens fine.

3.5.1

and I can see this happen in Android 12 and 13 too, but it opens the app but disregards the deepLink data.

You need to specify allowedProtocols and it'll work on android too! https://support.iterable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045714132-Installing-Iterable-s-React-Native-SDK#_6-initialize-the-sdk
