And of course, always make a full backup of your system before starting an upgrade, just in case. 😉 For changes since 2.0.0, you can check the release notes here: https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt/releases |

Hi!
I'm running Home Assistant 2025.6.3 with Zigbee2MQTT 1.42.0-2. I stopped upgrading Zigbee2MQTT just before the 2.0 release. Now it's time to upgrade and the actual version is 2.4.0-1 and I don't know if I can upgrade directly to this version or it is necessary to upgrade fist to an intermediary version. I've searched the net without result. Can I upgrade safely from 1.42.0-2 to 2.4.0-1? If I must upgrade first to a lower version or if I must manually modify any config, can you point me to a How-to or any doc describing the steps? TIA
