How does "Snapshots" work

The docs are a bit confusing.

The say "1 | Take two snapshots per second"

But the s/w change log says: "Setting the snapshot value to “1” will only take a single snapshot and reset the value to 0. "

So if I want to take a series of snapshots during auto can I just set "Snaphots" to 1 at the beginning, and 0 at the end, or do I need to set it to 30, or do I need to monitor the value and set it to 1 whenever it goes to 0?

Hi.

OK, got snapshots working, and they show up when I select Snapshots as an image source......

BUT, I can't get them to actually be processed. The limelight always just processes the camera image.

So... my hopes of being able to tweak processing on live competition pics is somewhat dashed.

I'm pretty sure it's not just me since another team warned me that this might be a problem.

Any chance of being able to use these images soon?

OK, I tried this on my backup Limelight and it looks good.

When it comes time to update the competition bot, I assume this will blow away all the images I captured at the last competition (before I can analyse them).

Is there any way to prevent this, or to transfer the images OFF the competition unit before blowing them away?
And then naturally, putting them back on.
