Enable-BitLockerEncryption.ps1 - Bitlocker waiting for activation

Some of our devices already have encrypted. When we run this script, the drives remain encrypted and the recoveryPassword is backed up.
However, Bitlocker shows as "waiting for activation". How can this be updated to enable Bitlocker?
