rm sd/0/img/0.4.8000 does something but nothing happens.

with a loaded image sd/0/img/0.4.8000. This image gets activated. then we try rm sd/0/img/0.4.8000. There is tagfuse activity. There is a distinct pause. But no state change seems to happen. The image is still in sd/0/img.
