Any Plans to Fix Bugs or Update 2?

The Last Release for this mod was Dec 16, 2021, it is now May 4, 2023.
I just want to know if this mod has ended development at 1.16 or if there are plans to fix bugs and update the mod to future versions of Minecraft.
