Why does useAssets use Asset[] instead of AssetExtended[]?

I notice there are 2 different asset types:

• Asset: {unit, quantity}
• AssetExtended: {unit, policyId, assetName, fingerprint, quantity}

So I'm facing this,
It says Property 'assetName' does not exist on type 'Asset', while actually assetName, fingerprint, and policyId exist (AKA, all the fields of AssetExtended)

Why does useAssets use Asset[] instead of AssetExtended[]? And why are there 2 different asset types, Asset and AssetExtended?
