Inability to change from a custom preset to an effect

What happened?

After uploading a custom image/preset to the Apollo Matrix-1 from Pixel Magic Tool, it properly displays the custom image/preset, however, changing to an effect results in it not responding to that request. The custom image/preset is still displayed, and it will change to another custom uploaded image/preset but again, not an effect.

To Reproduce Bug

1. Upload an image to Pixel Magic Tool
2. Generate the image
3. Save the image to the Apollo Matrix-1
4. Ensure the custom image is displayed
5. Apply an effect
6. Notice the effect is not displaying on the Matrix

Expected Behavior

1. Upload image to Pixel Magic Tool
2. Generate image
3. Save Image
4. Have the custom image/preset applied
5. Change to an effect and have that effect displayed successfully

Hi guys, unfortunately the "Upload an image" feature is not working well in the latest WLED-MM release from beginning of this year.
The upcoming WLED-MM version that I'm currently working on (see our mdev branch) should behave better.

I don't have the Pixel Magic Tool, however I've tested embedding an image into a JSON preset, and this works for me.
