Add logo for library based on new cf-python logo #96
Description
It would be nice for cf-plot to have a logo. In NCAS-CMS/cf-python#508 we discussed having a set of related ones for the various CF Data Tools, and Ankit introduced a brilliant one for cf-python, so ideally we can use that but with a small tweak to follow the thoughts expressed there.
My suggestion would be to have a logo that is identical to the cf-python one, except for two things:
- some small text 'plot' beside to emphasise the name; and
- a change from the globe being a terrain-based map style to a contour plot, to emphasise the data visualisation nature of cf-plot.
I have acquired the SVG for the cf-python logo from Ankit and will create a few ideas along those lines using that and some cf-plot plot outputs.
