They will work, but not great. P102-100 only has 5GB VRAM capacity, and PCIe 1.0 x4. For single-GPU, the VRAM capacity is too small to be useful, and multi-GPU will be super slow with that crippled PCIe interface. Better go with Nvidia P40/M40 24GB, they are dirt cheap (~$200/$125) on eBay. Similar $/GB, but less electricity cost. Another great new option is Intel Arc B60 24GB. |

Would it be unwise to consider the family of pascal miner gpu's such as P102-100, P104-100, P106-100?
They are generally between 15-25 usd, 6-10gb vram, memory speed is decent (320bit on p102).
Now my main consideration is the pci-e bandwidth is supposedly majorly limited on these, so when running something like 8-16 gpu's would this become an issue?
