Backwards Seek Upon Speed Change in Streamed Videos

Thanks for this awesome app!!

It's such a smooth viewing experience, and I love the playback speed controls. However, I have noticed that, when streaming a video, changing the speed makes the video jump back a few seconds. Which can be a bit painful. (There's a tiny hitch when you change the speed of local videos, but they pick up where they left off, which is far more pleasant.)

GStreamer backend needs a seek for playback rate change to be applied by design, so a "tiny hitch" is expected. It does have instant rate change support nowadays, but last time I tried it didn't work correctly.

That is probably because GStreamer cannot seek precisely into exact position in the media type you are using.
