Can't Compile - Linux - Manifest.txt

Hello im new to this Git thing but very interested in this project. I have been using CraftProxyLiter for the server I run and the noticed this is the real server one!

Firstly i downloaded the jar from the old releases which did not run. "Broken Jar Archive". I have since followed the instructions on the project page. The file structure seems to have changed. I cannot figure out what the manifest.txt file is about that links to another location ../temp/manifest.txt

Hmm, I didn't realise that git stored it as a link. I assumed that it would actually use the file itself.

I should probably look into getting maven to work.

Also, this isn't the latest project. CraftProxy Liter is a more up to date and should have fewer bugs/issues.

Hi Raphfrk thanks for the reply. I have been using CraftProxyLiter for 3 server instances on a single machine. Thought this was the better solution. I'll be following progress closely to EventLink and other parts to your Server Port suite. I was hoping that client ip addresses would be passed to each game server somehow instead of using the loopback or proxy adddress. Can this already be done through bridging connections or NAT somehow?

You mean so that the player.getAddress() method returns the clients address rather than just the proxy one?

I don't see how that can be done with the standard server. One option would be for the proxy to send something like /setIp 1.2.3.4 as the first command when it logs in. A plugin would have to handle it though.

If you are talking about the server's IP, it is possible to bind the proxy to particular IP addresses.

java -jar CraftProxyLiter.jar 192.168.1.1:20000

will bind the proxy to IP 192.168.1.1 (assuming the server has 192.168.1.1 as its IP address).

Oh ok. I was thinking that there might be a way for the proxy to modify the packet headers are modified so that the destination ports are switched to the default server and vice versa. I that cannot be done, I might add a SQL backend that tracks connections to create sessions for each server.
