Strange repeating noise when fancontroller is open #3123

Hey, This morning i updated FanControl to the latest release. I then heard a strange repeating beeping type noise coming from my computer. I thought something might be wrong with it but as i just updated FanControl i tried closing it and the noise goes away? The noise starts up after FanControl being open for around 10 or so minutes. |

That's the SMART update seeking sound. You got storage monitoring enabled. Its update rate got updated in LHM. |
