FanContrl does not detect CPU fan but HWiNFO does

I installed FanControl on a NUC8i5BEK running Windows 11 24H2, but it doesn't detect any sensors or fans.
However, HWiNFO shows CPU temps and fan speed, so even if no control possible, I was also hoping FanControl could at least give me CPU temp in the System Tray. Nothing being blocked or other LibreHardwareMonitor issues so far as I can tell.

Well you could import HWInfo sensors with a plugin, but at that point why not just use HWInfo directly for that if there is no control/fan curve here?

Thanks for the reply. That is def an option, but I just like FanControl more and use it elsewhere so it's also about familiarity and consistency, plus I'm curious why it doesn't natively see those devices.
