PC regulating fan speeds ignoring FC settings since newest version 245

Hey guys
Since I recently installed 245, my pc regulates fan speeds at own "will" ( I guess its temp ) and ignoring my settings in FC.

If I set fans at 50% whatsoever, it spins them at 50% but if Im gaming, the fans speed up until I stop and go back to 50%.
I didnt have this before - am I too dumb?

I assume you are talking about your GPU fans? What GPU do you got ? a RTX XX70 or XX80 I suppose? What temp do you hit when gaming? You are probably hitting the temp limit and your card kicks the fans to cool itself down from that limit.

No, its about all fans.
7 x case, 3 x aio - I do not control the gpu fans via FC and they dont behave unusual; its really about the other fans

These settings are fine-tuning parameters to shape how the fan responds. Not required if you are setting a fixed manual speed like you are doing.

Same issue here: after the latest update, the AMD driver/software ignores all FanControl settings. No other fan control software is installed, including Asus utilities for the motherboard or the Strix X6900XT (water cooled).
The FanControl configuration and driver version remain unchanged, yet the AMD software continues to apply its own fan curve. Manually resetting it only works temporarily before it reverts automatically to the same or slightly different settings. The AMD software applies these changes sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few minutes, and sometimes only after a system restart. Could you shed some light on if this is merely a settings issue or something different entirely?

1st:
Do not touch Adrenaline when FanControl is enabled on your AMD card. That will mess with FanControl. It's normal the controls in Adrenaline change. Just do not touch them or try to make sense of them, they won't make sense.

2nd: The 1-30% range is not valid. You can't use it. It's either 0, or 30% and above. Your curve operate between 10 and 45, so anything between 10 and 30 will cause the "?".

1. i did not touch the adrenalin software initialy, only after a while i manually changed the curve there since the fans where blaring at 70% which is extremely loud and the FanControl setting of max 45% got ignored to beginn with.

2. changing the range to >30% doesn't change anything in the behavior? in fact, FanControl can't control the fans on the Strix 6900 as well on the Radiator of it at all as long as it sits in the "Zero RPM" mode, being it normal, force control or manually only when a application demands GPU power and therefore temp rises fan control steps in:

FanControl should set zero RPM by itself on and off.

Any value > 0 should set ZeroRPM to off, == 0 should set it back to ON, Again, if you did change it manually at some point, it will mess with FanControl and you'll be in a broken state until you restart FanControl.
