The solution removes the black bars without reducing the vertical field of view in ultrawide and other resolutions.

  1. Download the archive below.
  2. Unpack it to SMG037UE5\Binaries\Win64 (Steam & maybe Epic) or SMG037UE5\Binaries\WinGDK (Microsoft Store) inside the game folder.

To uninstall the fix, simply remove or move the files.

Tested on the latest Microsoft Store version at 2560x1080. Also tested on Steam at 3440x1440 by SP4RT4N3R.
