Rsync - download speed

Hello,

Why rsync download speed drops below 500 kbits/s for large files eg 500 MB?

Smaller single files are downloaded with much more speed.

I have a cloud where I store my borg backups. I download them daily to my PC via rsync. The borg backups (500 MB parts) take a long time to download.

I use the --Delete flag, but it takes +3 hours to download about 3GB :/

I don't understand why it takes so long with these files.

Any tips?
