Remove Kaniko from jenkins-library ? #5512
Description
Essentially https://github.com/GoogleContainerTools/kaniko is unmaintained since March 2025 and was now archived by google a few months ago.
I still see this piece of software to much used and being newly integrated with also via this project compared to how its project status is.
It might make sense to think about removing it from the jenkins-library then as there is still the docker builder.
Using a fork like https://github.com/chainguard-dev/kaniko.
Or looking towards skopeo, buildah, buildkit etc. ?
