Does the community want to continue the development of this project as a fork?

I would be highly interested in doing so because I believe this is really convenient to develop Microservices using this framework.

Considering the reasons highlighted by the creators, I wouldn't bet on this for the long-run.
I had this project under the radar to see where it was going. The promise was good but considering that it was backed up by Google it's already a red-flag nowadays.

In any case, it's a completely different stack, and has the potential to suffer the same problems as this one, considering that Microsoft's side-projects are steadily becoming as unreliable as Google's, but Net Aspire might be something you could look at.

As it mostly relies on common tooling, and less opinionated, it should be easier to migrate when they stop supporting it.
