Command flag doesn't work

Hi folks, I'm using wofi v1.4.1 and the --hide-search=true command line flag doesn't work.

Wofi complain about an unrecognized option.

wofi: unrecognized option '--hide-search=false'
or
wofi: unrecognized option '--hide-search=true'

However, using hide_search=true from within wofi configuration file does the job.

Did I misread the wofi man or is there an issue?

There is no such flag from the command line. This part from the configuration file.
Leave this open, I will rewrite the flag parser in a professional way.

I confess that I didn't looked at the source code and was indeed played by a internet remaining reddit discussion and the wofi man page that state the configuration bool but not the flag and just assumed that the flag was kinda supposed to exist.

Just looked at the --help and it is indeed not listed.

Glad this request indeed add it ^^
That will allow on demand hide/show of the search input for people looking to create a quick shutdown menu like me :D

You may be referring to the mainstream version. This fork is a bit old (v1.4.1) while source project is (v1.5.1). I did not see the update, so, might have to merge it.

You may be right, I'm using wofi v1.4.1 provided by the distribution, I thought yours was the origin as I didn't find the original github wofi repository.

Wofi developers are the ones to blame, they hosted in SourceHut but not mirrored on other platforms.
