Github runner version 2.307.1 the input device is not a TTY with npm install

We are using dev containers with GitHub CI, When GitHub runner version was changed to 2.307.1, we started getting errors while running the command: npm --prefix cloud/functions/ install We haven't changed anything on our end. Yesterday, when the CI runner version was 2.306.0, everything was working fine and actions passing. However, if I go back and rerun those actions again, The action fails with the below error message.

Some of the things I tried working with is changing the command to npm --prefix cloud/functions/ ci or npm --prefix cloud/functions/ --no-optional install

fwiw, I am not very familiar with github CI or NPM so any help would be appreciated

Stumbled upon this while executing docker run commands with docker run --rm -it. Solution there was to remove the -it part. Runners probably just dont run with TTY available, thus the failing commands.
