Not work in a shadow root

I try to use react-tiny-popover in a shadow root. In my case I use plasmo to create a chrome extension. plasmo's csui is hooked in a shadow dom.

I found that the popover position is wrong in my case. The source code did not handle this edge case.

On my side using version 8.1 the arrow container is miss positioned when rendered inside a shadow root. I'm using the parentElement node to refer to the nearest dom element which has dimensions sets. My guess is that some getBoundingClientRect must be wrong but I could'nt find which.
