Registering for a TD Ameritrade DEVELOPER Account with the New Schwab API

Why can't I seem to get my TD Ameritrade Developer account set up? How would I be able register with the new API? Is it just me, or is this process unnecessarily complicated? Can anyone provide some much needed guidance on how to navigate this frustrating process?

TD froze API access requests, you can only apply for one at Schwab, but they all get put into a pending state...
