Event reminder not working

Problem scope

• I'm sure that this is a DAVx⁵ problem.

App version

• I'm using the latest available DAVx⁵ version.

Android version and device/firmware type

Android 12 (Oppo A16)

Steps to reproduce

1. add a nextcloud account to DAVx5
2. Check the calendar
3. Set the calendar sync interval to 15 minutes
4. follow the procedure at https://www.davx5.com/faq/synchronization-is-not-run-as-expected

• auto-launch and Start in background Enable
• power saving disable
• 4G Internet activate

6. create an event on nextcloud with reminder at 5 minutes
7. wait 20 minutes
8. synchronization not performed (in the calendar application not the new event) and no notification

If I sync manually (with the DAVx5 app),

• I have the events in the calendar app
• The notification appears.

Nextcloud Version : Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.6)
Nextcloud Calendar : 5.3.3

Actual result

Automatic synchronization and notification (event reminder) not working.

Expected result

That the synchronization works and that the notifications work (Event reminder)

I may have found a solution to my problem.

It doesn't work with Google Calendar.

However, it does work with Etar - OpenSource Calendar.

It may be Google Calendar that's blocking the sync, but normally Davx5 handles the sync, especially since when I did a manual sync with Davx5, it worked with Google Calendar.

So, in the end, I don't know. I'm fine with using Etar; on the contrary, switching from Google is a very good thing.
