Sync only if VPN connected option

Hello.
I use vpn always connected, and davx5-ose gives errors frequently, because it starts to run after internet connection is made, but BEFORE vpn connects.
I think adding the option to sync only if VPN is connected (like in FairEmail) will be beneficial

Hi, we know about all the current limitations and problems with "complex" setups like VPNs and non-internet-accessible installations.
Android is just complex and not so prepared for these situations.

However, we are constantly working on improvements, and keeping track of all the issues here: #990

Sorry for the inconvenience, but Android is a bit picky on what is a valid network and what is not.

So adding delay (2-3 seconds here) can be a mitigation allowing vpn to comnect before sync starts. Maybe this way?
