Settings for Infomaniak, in case you are confused

I configured Davx5 for Infomaniak, as I did not want to use their fork.

https://www.davx5.com/tested-with/infomaniak misled me into using https://sync.infomaniak.com as the base URL, and as I did not know where to get the username, I was using my email address. This did not work, I was getting no calendars or address books.

After going to: https://config.infomaniak.com/ and selected Thunderbird, I got the instructions:

Open the Mozilla Thunderbird application and install the Lightning plug-in.
From the Calendar tab in the menu bar, click on and «New» then Calendar...
Select a location On the network then the CalDAV type. Set a username.
Enter the URL https://sync.infomaniak.com/calendars/USERXXXXX/xxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx
Give a name to your Calendar and click on Next.
Enter USERXXXXX in the user field and generate the application password below.

This worked perfectly. https://sync.infomaniak.com/ did not work as base url and Dav5x complained about "No CalDAV or CardDAV service". I could use https://sync.infomaniak.com/calendars/USERXXXXX/ as a less specific URL and it worked as good as https://sync.infomaniak.com/calendars/USERXXXXX/xxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
