I agree that it can be useful, and shouldn't be too hard to implement, since we already have almost all the infrastructure required including the UI, since when creating a new collection (that's how they are technically called) you have to choose one name and color of course. Let's see what @rfc2822 thinks about this, and elevate it to an issue if we are going to do it 😉 |

Well it would clearly be possible and useful and we have thought about this a long time. However it would require adding a new dialog that allows to change all collection properties, no? Because if you can change the name, why not the color, and if the color, why not the allowed component types, timezone etc. Maybe the "create collection" view can be reused somehow? I'll create an issue for somewhen, but I think it won't happen in near future. I'd however be happy about UI suggestions how this could be done. |

Newbie here. I assume the same issue applies also for the addressbook account name, I only see "DAVx5 address book" and no info of the related DAVx5 internal account. I had expected something like "DAVx5 address book ()", e.g. to separate work and private. |

Hi, I've been doing some testing with CalDAV and CardDAV for a few days now, both on Windows and Android.
On Windows I've found an email client that allows to change/sync the name and color of calendars with the server. On Android, some calendar apps allow to change/sync only the color, while none of them seem to support changing the name as well.
Since I'm not an expert, I wanted to ask if such a feature (changing the name/color of calendars directly from DAVx5) is planned/possible for future releases.
