Viable to merge changes from this branch to upstream acarsdec

I notice that now the upstream code which this project was forked from is now on github (https://github.com/TLeconte/acarsdec) which is now at version 3.3, and was just wondering how viable it might be to look at merging the XASTIR feature from this fork back into the mainline code?
