Build in ARM architecture painfully fails

When trying to compile for ARM architectures I get the error below:

According to this link there is no intention to release a dependency on the protobuf compiler for ARM by the team that takes care of the maven dependency

Thanks @marcellanz I just didn't understand it properly in this discussion whether or not they managed to compile for ARM

protoc-3.4.0-linux-aarch_64.exe

and indeed its not there:

but there is an aarch_64 binary since 3.5.x

Thanks @marcellanz we are using the version 3.11.4 I will try to update the versions and see what happens
