Audit CNCF project related Slack instances

There have been some reports of issues around CNCF project related Slack instances not follow CNCF trademark/social guidelines:

I was aware of many Slacks out there being part of the Fluentd and other Slacks for years which I think are fine when you see they are focused on the OSS and not the commercial offerings of companies. When you start to see them having commercial offerings on the same Slack this is a problem.

My organization uses NATS in our software stack and hence we participate in the community. When you join the #nats channel on the CNCF Slack you get a message like:

"Would you be able to join the NATS slack channel and ask this question? There is a better oppty for community NATS users along with the maintainers to answer there. You can join at slack.nats.io"

When you join this slack you see things like:

When we are mixing the community with commercial offerings from the sponsor organization there is a clear conflict of interest with regards to being part of a software foundation. This rubs me the wrong way as an open source maintainer and advocate. Thanks for bringing this up @caniszczyk !
