Feature freeze and proper versioning

I find the current "versioning" unsatisfying. I think it is time for version 4.0.0 even if it has some known issues and then a more careful release cycle. At the same time I would introduce a feature freeze for version 4 and focus on fixing bugs and writing tests. Independent(!) of this, one can work on version 5 with its own tests and features, whatever. But version 4 should be stabilized, even if it seems a waste of time or too much work. It is the best we currently have and we will only know how version 5 will have taken, when it is released. I am not holding my breath because I know how these projects go.

BTW: Is coolify hiring or onboarding new developers? I am interested, it is a great product and I could probably help tidy things up.
