URL Query Parameters not working as expected

What happened?

I am using this URL to access my chatbot as per docs

http://localhost:3090/c/new?endpoint=HelpAssistant&model=gpt-4o-mini

UI shows select a model . Despite having two models

After i post the query i see below error

Please suggest if any config is incorrect , as i tried all possible combinations .

When using model specs, you should use the spec=NameOfModelSpec query parameter, otherwise you will experience the error you're seeing since you also have modelSpecs.enforce set to true.

Thanks for the suggestion , endpoint url works when modeSpecs.enfore set to false.
user is able to make query and hits the correct API , but the model name is shown wrong it should be HelpAssistant.

Issue 2
Also if the http://localhost:3090/c/new?endpoint=HelpAssistant&model=gpt-4o-mini is hit
and it takes to the LOGIN screen
after login the URL paramters are lost

@danny-avila can you please suggest on the login part the URL params are lost

I noticed you setup model specs, so I suggested you use the spec parameter. If you don't want to use it, you can use modelLabel for the label.

Can you suggest on issue 2 - if i hit the url as http://localhost:3090/c/new?spec=HelpAssistant or with endpoint
and it takes me to login screen.
After login the URL params are lost

the spec parameter works as expected, however i am also facing the same issue for login.
If use login to the url with private window, the selection is not preserved after login.

@danny-avila @jnnirmal47 , did you found any solution for this issue?
I just want to provide two separate links to different set of users and want the identified to be passed to backend api.

I worked using the urls with spec paramters http://localhost:1023/c/new?spec=financialAdvice , it worked fine

regarding after login to preserve the spec used , i made minor change to store and retrieve from sessionStorage
