Create final report of all plots and metrics in one place

How will we produce a final "report" for a given run?

1. latex that someone can put into overleaf?
2. html?
3. markdown?

Top of my mind, I'd say html. Out of the three options, I think html is the easiest to render the report as a page on a screen for the end user. It's possible to embed html it within IPython/Jupyter or let the user open it in a browser. LaTeX has additional requirements to render a page. Markdown can be embedded in jupyter cells, but if the user is running the code from a .py script, they'll need a markdown viewer (which is slightly more esoteric than a webbrowser)

maybe we should just use a notebook then?

and I guess nbsphinx can render notebooks in html?
