Query::toIterable yields results differently from getResult

Given an entity A and another entity B referencing A,

use Doctrine\ORM\Mapping as ORM;

#[ORM\Entity]
class A
{
    #[ORM\Id]
    #[ORM\Column(type: 'integer')]
    private int $id;
}

use Doctrine\ORM\Mapping as ORM;

#[ORM\Entity]
class B
{
    #[ORM\Id]
    #[ORM\OneToOne(targetEntity: JobOffer::class)]
    private A $entity;
}

the following query will have its results organized differently depending on how they are fetched.

SELECT a, b
FROM A a
JOIN B b WITH b.entity = a

toIterable will yield arrays where the first element is instance of A and the second instance of B.

iterator_to_array($query->toIterable());

array:1 [▼
  0 => array:2 [▼
    0 => A
    1 => B
  ]
]

getResult will return an array alternating instances of A and B.

$query->getResult();

array:2 [▼
  0 => A
  1 => B
]

toIterable’s behavior seems more intuitive to me but getResult and getArrayResult share a different one. Is that a bug? I couldn’t find anything in the documentation regarding this specific case.
