Generator.run is not a function

Hi there,

I successfully follow the guide to compose my first app, but I get into troubles when trying to author the hello-world extension following this tutorial:

$ sudo npm install -g yo generator-theia-extension

My setup is:

• WSL2 5.15.133.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2
• Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish)
• running on Windows 11 Professional Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621
• node v21.3.0
• npm 10.2.4
• yarn 1.22.21
• latest Theia

I have no clue on what is going on.

@Michel-FK The recently released v5 of yeoman has contains a breaking change that broke our generator. See this GitHub issue. The short term recommendation is to downgrade to yeoman v4, while we’re working on an update

I searched this forum and also googled for it, but for one reason, it did not pick up this particular issue.
