Alt + Up doesn't work in tmux

What Happened?

Hi,

When I'm using tmux and pressing Alt + Up key combo it doesn't switch between vertical panes. Alt + Down works, however. I don't see that problem in other terminals (like guake)

Steps to Reproduce

1. sudo apt install tmux
2. tmux
3. Ctrl + B then immediately %
4. Alt + Up to toggle between two vertical panes

This is because the Terminal Widget has an action with the accelerator <Alt>Up - which scrolls back to the last command execution if required (see feature request #238). We'll see whether this can be re-implemented or changed so it does not interfere with tmux

Sadly, a fix will only be release to OS8+. We don't backport fixes to OS7. Thanks for reporting this issue!

@gornostal I've started to look into tmux (I am not a user) and it appears the Alt + Up is not a native shortcut? Presumably you have set up this binding to Ctrl + b followed by Up? As far as I can see Alt + Up does not work as an action accelerator in a Terminal pane inside tmux even if a binding is not set up, but some other shortcuts like Shift + Ctrl + F do. We have recently ported the current main branch to Gtk4 so things are fluid regarding shortcut handling. We shall bear this issue in mind as shortcuts are reconsidered under Gtk4.

I am not sure to what extent `tmux users would expect every sub-terminal to have all of the native Terminal features regarding shortcuts. The context menu no longer shows due to #933.

There the option to run different process in different tabs or Terminal windows if you want full capability.

@gornostal I have pushed a possible fox for this - see #946. The shortcut for scroll to command is now <Alt>U. Hopefully that fixes the clash and doesn't clash with something else. This action still does not work under tmux but that is because native scrolling of the Vte.Terminal is suppressed by tmux so there is little I can do.

As I do not use tmux please report any other issues you find - thanks!
