How to use guard mode

When I use the guard mode for a local MCP Server I developed I see that the guard proxy is started.

I've configured the guard mode in the Claude Desktop settings.

But when I check the available tools it shows no tools found.

How can now use this 'guarded' MCP server?

Can you run mcptools tools mcptools guard ... so you can debug if it really filters.

I'm running mcptools on Windows 11 (just as background information).

I tried to run the command you asked me to run, but I cannot get any output.

These are things I tried:

 mcptools tools mcptools guard --allow tools:get_rider_preferences cmd /c "uv.exe run --with mcp[cli] --with requests --with tzlocal mcp run C:\\Github\\mcp-server-vanmoof\\server.py"

Result no output

 mcptools tools cmd /c 'mcptools guard --allow tools:get_rider_preferences cmd /c "uv.exe run --with mcp[cli] --with requests --with tzlocal mcp run C:\\Github\\mcp-server-vanmoof\\server.py"'

Output:
Error: initialization timed out
Example: mcp tools npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-filesystem ~

Let me know what else I can do?
